On June 30, the “2024 ESG Action Report” event was held in Beijing, co-hosted by the China Media Group, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society. During the event, the “China ESG Listed Companies Pioneer 100” list was released, with FAW Jiefang making the list at 67th place.
As a prominent national automobile brand, FAW Jiefang has been committed to deepening its ESG system construction, integrating ESG concepts into its strategy, operations, and corporate culture, and strengthening ESG information disclosure. In 2023, FAW Jiefang was not only included in the “China ESG Listed Companies Pioneer 100” but also ranked in the “Top 20 ESG Pioneer Index of China’s Automotive Industry” and won the “Annual ESG Pioneer Enterprise Award.” Following five years of releasing social responsibility reports, FAW Jiefang has transitioned these reports into comprehensive ESG reports, detailing the company’s practices in environmental, social, and governance aspects.

In 2023, it tackled 96 key core technologies, accelerating the creation of new productivity, enhancing core functions, and boosting core competitiveness. As of 2024, the brand value of “Jiefang” reached 131.845 billion yuan, leading the commercial vehicle industry for 13 consecutive years.
Digital Transformation and Green Manufacturing
FAW Jiefang is a firm advocate and promoter of the “dual carbon” strategy, continuously strengthening its green low-carbon transformation. The company has established a low-carbon path integrating vehicles and the environment, advancing “zero-carbon factories,” photovoltaic applications, and eliminating high-energy-consuming equipment. In 2023, FAW Jiefang’s photovoltaic power generation reached 30.816 million kWh, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 23,254.6 tons.
In terms of new energy product development, FAW Jiefang is advancing its “15333” new energy strategy, developing the 2.0 series of new energy products, establishing a “carbon neutrality technology innovation platform,” and successfully developing and igniting the world’s first ammonia-hydrogen fusion direct injection zero-carbon internal combustion engine. Additionally, through digital means, FAW Jiefang has created a commercial vehicle carbon account platform system, encouraging the commercial vehicle industry chain to actively participate in the national carbon market and promote green low-carbon transformation across the supply chain.
Social Responsibility: Enhancing Community Welfare
FAW Jiefang aligns its development with social service, actively practicing the responsibility philosophy of “People, Vehicles, and Society Harmonious Development.” The company continues to expand its “Jiefang Love Navigation” public welfare brand, supporting truck drivers, fostering educational dreams, engaging in disaster relief, and participating in rural revitalization.
In 2023, FAW Jiefang enriched the “Jiefang Love Navigation: Caring for Truck Drivers” project by extending support for disaster relief, traffic accidents, and major illnesses, and adding scholarship funds and positive energy funds. Collaborating with public welfare partners, it has donated over 16.17 million yuan, assisting 3,794 truck drivers and their families. Additionally, it donated 1 million yuan in scholarships to five universities and 8 million yuan to support flood rescue efforts in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces. In rural revitalization, FAW Jiefang has helped purchase and sell agricultural products worth over 8.3 million yuan from poverty-stricken areas in 2023.
