To achieve the “dual carbon” goals and promote coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Tianjin has identified the hydrogen industry as a strategic emerging sector for development. The city has established a comprehensive hydrogen industry chain, including hydrogen production, storage, transportation, fuel cell core components, and demonstration applications, making it a significant hub for China’s hydrogen industry. As a pioneering force in Tianjin’s hydrogen industry, Rongcheng New Energy Group focuses on the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and uses hydrogen transportation application scenarios as leverage. It has established a hydrogen equipment manufacturing industry chain and mature demonstration applications in Binhai New Area. The continuous introduction and application of Dongfeng Liuzhou Chenglong hydrogen-powered heavy trucks will help Rongcheng New Energy Group build a “hydrogen+” economic model that integrates “source, grid, vehicle, and cloud,” promoting comprehensive development of the hydrogen industry.
