On September 17, the 2024 IAA Hannover International Commercial Vehicle Show officially commenced. Under the theme “Zero to Hero,” China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) made a stunning appearance with seven meticulously crafted models. Among them, the newly upgraded Huanghe hydrogen internal combustion engine tractor, with its ultra-low drag coefficient and Oriental aesthetic design, immediately caught the attention of attendees. The “Huanghe” shone brightly in Hannover, adding a brilliant stroke of “China Sky Blue” to the global commercial vehicle industry.

In ancient Eastern culture, water is the source of all life. For the newly upgraded Huanghe hydrogen internal combustion engine tractor, a “drop of water” symbolizes the zero-carbon green ecosystem of hydrogen energy.

Water nourishes all things without striving. Every drop of water not only represents the burst of power but also signifies the collective efforts with partners, coming together like rivers flowing into the sea, to shape a green industrial ecosystem through technology and jointly protect our green homeland.
0.286 Drag Coefficient
Breaking the Limits of Commercial Heavy-Duty Trucks Once Again
What is the limit for the drag coefficient of a commercial heavy-duty truck? There seems to be no end to this question! But which company produces the truck with the lowest drag coefficient? The answer is indisputable!

At the media open day, held the day before the exhibition’s official start, CNHTC made a major announcement: the newly upgraded Huanghe low-drag, zero-emission energy-saving tractor has achieved a drag coefficient of 0.286. This not only improves fuel efficiency by 15%, but also marks another breakthrough by CNHTC in pushing the global boundaries of low drag for commercial heavy-duty trucks!
Since entering the international market in 2004, CNHTC’s products, starting from the Huanghe model, have been exported to 150 countries and regions, with over 600,000 heavy-duty trucks sold abroad. With nearly 1,000 dealerships and 80 overseas offices, CNHTC has built a global sales and service network, establishing itself as a key player in the global commercial vehicle industry.
The Huanghe River is the birthplace of Chinese civilization; it is also the starting point for China’s heavy-duty trucks. As generations of CNHTC employees grow alongside the nation, every CNHTC vehicle will continue to paint the most beautiful picture on the world stage with its wheels.
