On September 16 local time, the world’s largest and most influential professional commercial vehicle exhibition, IAA Transportation 2024 (Hannover International Transportation Exhibition), was held at the Hannover Exhibition Center. JAC Group showcased several new energy commercial vehicle models and cutting-edge technologies at the event, demonstrating once again the immense strength and potential of China’s automotive industry. This attracted significant attention from the global industry.


During the media day, JAC Group announced its European strategy for the first time, under the slogan “For Greener Cities, NOW.” This strategy focuses on localized operations in products, marketing, and services, integrating resources across the entire supply chain, including energy suppliers, financial services, vehicle equipment, and logistics companies. The goal is to set a new benchmark for last-mile green logistics, contributing to energy conservation and emission reduction in Europe and globally, while jointly creating a green and intelligent new ecosystem.

Yu Yang, General Manager of JAC International, highlighted the company’s plans for the European market and introduced three new energy commercial vehicle models: the all-electric light trucks N42 EV and N75 EV, as well as the all-electric T9 EV pickup. From commercial to household use, and from heavy-duty intercity transport to short-distance urban delivery, JAC Group is committed to developing a product lineup that adapts to various transportation scenarios.

As a new product in JAC’s commercial vehicle lineup, the N42 EV is equipped with CATL’s third-generation 77.28 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering a fully loaded driving range of over 220 kilometers. In terms of smart features, the N42 EV achieves Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities and is equipped with multiple advanced driver assistance systems to ensure driving safety and comfort. Alongside the N42 EV, another new energy light truck on display, the N75 EV, further demonstrates JAC’s deep expertise and forward-looking strategy in the field of new energy commercial vehicles. These new additions enrich JAC’s pure electric product lineup and strengthen its market leadership in the new energy commercial vehicle sector.
As a “new face” in the European automotive family, the T9 EV made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10, becoming the first Chinese pure electric four-wheel-drive pickup to be showcased in Europe. Built on JAC’s dedicated platform for medium and large intelligent passenger pickups, the T9 EV is powered by CATL’s latest generation 88.02 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a driving range of over 340 kilometers.

The IAA Hannover International Transportation Exhibition is not only a global barometer for the commercial vehicle industry but also a vital platform for showcasing the latest products and technologies in the sector. JAC Group’s participation not only demonstrated its technical prowess in new energy and intelligent connectivity but also further elevated the global reputation and influence of “Made in China” in the professional commercial vehicle field.
