Recently, the 21st China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit concluded successfully. This year’s expo, themed “Cooperation and Development for Mutual Benefit, Creating a Brilliant Future—Promoting the Construction of Version 3.0 of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and Regional High-Quality Growth,” showcased the latest achievements in cooperation between China and ASEAN countries. Among the exhibits, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Xinjiang Co., Ltd. presented its new X7 tractor, which captivated many dealers and customers as one of the representatives of the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle series.
The X7 new 6×4 tractor on display continues the design style of the Dongfeng Changxing X series from Dongfeng Xinjiang. It features an all-new X7 high-roof double sleeper cab, paired with front and rear air suspension systems, significantly enhancing driving comfort.
Its powertrain integrates the Dongfeng DCI465-51 engine, the Dongfeng 14-speed DT1422 DD transmission, and the Dongfeng Dana DF440 rear dual axle. This golden power chain has been fully validated in the market, endowing the vehicle with strong power performance, capable of easily handling complex road conditions for various medium- to long-distance transport while achieving better fuel economy.
In addition, the X7 tractor also adopts the latest anti-rust technology. Not only has the paint film thickness of components been strengthened, but a dual protection system of clear coat and wax spraying has been implemented for the entire vehicle, enabling it to adapt to various harsh working environments, thereby fully validating its anti-corrosion capability.
During the expo, Yang Tao, Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Import and Export Company, Liu Xueming, General Manager of the Overseas Marketing Department of Commercial Vehicles, and Shen Bin, General Manager of Dongfeng Xinjiang, visited the exhibition and participated in a collaboration-focused event. They highlighted the company’s main commercial vehicle models to ASEAN customers and signed cooperation agreements with partners from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and other countries.
The participation of Dongfeng Xinjiang’s X7 tractor at this expo not only showcased the excellent performance and advanced technology of Dongfeng Xinjiang’s products but also marked an important step for Dongfeng Xinjiang in entering overseas markets, laying a solid foundation for subsequent products to enter the ASEAN market and expand the dealer network.
