600kWh Dump Truck New Model Launches, Exploring More Boundaries
At the event, Yutong Heavy-duty Truck officially launched its 600kWh long-range, high-capacity products. As the industry’s first 600kWh large-capacity dump truck, the Yutong 600kWh dump truck is equipped with BC5 battery cells that offer about 5% higher energy density than BC3. It features a deeper discharge depth and a state-of-charge (SOC) that can be used down to 5%, highlighting its long-range and convenience. In terms of charging efficiency, it comes standard with dual 500A chargers, with an optional upgrade to dual 600A chargers, enabling faster charging and improved vehicle uptime. To address customer concerns about battery life, the Yutong 600kWh dump truck offers a battery cycle life of up to 8 years and 4500 charge cycles, better meeting customer needs.

Facing Complex Scenarios, Delivering an Energy Consumption of 1.1 kWh/km
It is worth mentioning that during this road test event, the Yutong 600kWh tractor truck went deep into the actual operational routes of customers, using a live broadcast format to lead the audience through an immersive new energy heavy-duty truck transportation experience.
At the event, Wang Guobin, General Manager of Xiangyang Pangda Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., disclosed the vehicle’s operational data. In the 20% flat road and 80% steep incline with continuous turning segments, the Yutong 600kWh tractor truck covered 114 kilometers, consuming 21% of its battery charge. The average energy consumption was 1.1 kWh per kilometer, with an estimated range of 520 kilometers on a full charge.

The route taken during the test had an elevation difference of nearly 1200 meters.
