CEVA and Windrose Technology Have Successfully Collaborated on Multiple Long-Haul Electric Truck Transportation Tests, these include round-trip tests from the Guangdong Greater Bay Area to Pingxiang, Guangxi (on the China-Vietnam border), and a 5,000-kilometer one-way test from Shenzhen to Alashankou (on the China-Kazakhstan border). According to calculations based on the GLEC framework and WTW (Well-to-Wheel) standards, electric truck transportation has shown an average 55% reduction in carbon emissions compared to traditional transportation methods. Building on these successful experiences, CEVA and Weidu Technology will continue to conduct more transportation tests in China, further exploring the feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency of electric trucks across different routes and operational scenarios. As part of their strategic plan, CEVA also intends to connect Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and even Europe through the TIR network.

This initiative by CEVA is highly aligned with the CMA CGM Group’s goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. CEVA is dedicated to expanding its low-carbon fleet, planning to increase the number of low-carbon vehicles in its ground operations to 1,450 by 2025 and deploy over 650 electric trucks globally. To this end, CEVA will continue to innovate and invest in sustainable logistics solutions, further consolidating its leading position in the field of sustainable logistics.
