During the 2025 Guangxi · Pingxiang China-Vietnam Border Tourism Festival, this model not only demonstrated the operation of unmanned container trucks to delegations from Lạng Sơn Province (Vietnam) and Pingxiang City (Guangxi, China), but also delivered an outstanding performance in the unmanned container truck competition. By simulating the real operation scenario of the smart port, it took the lead in completing the full-scenario demonstration with highly human-like autonomous driving capabilities and control precision surpassing that of human drivers.

The Shaanxi Auto X5000E combines Shaanxi Auto’s manufacturing heritage with multi-sensor technology. Its 360° environmental coverage and high-capacity battery fast-charging technology can meet high-frequency and high-load demands. During the test, it successfully coped with complex situations such as equipment interference and mixed pedestrian-vehicle flow, and was compatible with the entire process of cargo inspection.

Currently, Pingxiang City is advancing the construction of 24-hour unmanned customs clearance at the Puozhai-Xinqing Smart Port and has signed relevant strategic cooperation agreements. Recently, the 5th China-Mongolia Expo was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Shaanxi Auto, in collaboration with Kaer Power, participated in the expo and showcased the jointly developed X5000E—the world’s first pre-installed mass-produced dual-redundancy L4-level autonomous driving new energy heavy-duty truck—injecting intelligent momentum into China-Mongolia economic and trade cooperation with its cutting-edge technology.

The X5000E deeply integrates Shaanxi Auto’s manufacturing experience in new energy commercial vehicles and Kaer Power’s autonomous driving technology:
- Equipped with multiple high-performance sensors, it can still achieve 360° accurate environmental perception in sandstorm, rain, and snow weather;
- Fitted with a high-computing-power unit and redundant communication unit, its key systems adopt redundant design, which not only meets the requirements of high-level autonomous driving but also ensures safe and stable operation, making it suitable for bulk commodity transportation scenarios.
At the expo site, the X5000E completed a dynamic demonstration of “1 leading + 1 following” hybrid intelligent formation, and its cooperative control capability was highly recognized. The combination of this technology and the new energy attribute can reduce labor costs by 83% and energy consumption by 10%, saving 100,000 to 200,000 yuan per truck annually. In addition, intelligent dispatching can further reduce comprehensive costs by 20%, delivering significant advantages in cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

In recent years, Kaer Power and Shaanxi Auto have accelerated the industrialization and large-scale application of autonomous driving heavy-duty trucks, expanding their cooperation from product development to deeper strategic synergy:
