Against this backdrop, Ms. Dewoon described the company’s current phase as a manifestation of its long-term commitment to “In China, for China”, marking Scania’s deepened integration into the Chinese ecosystem. This strategic positioning aims to provide optimized solutions for the transformation of China’s transportation and truck market, aligning with the macro development goals of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan. Under Ms. Dewoon’s leadership, the company’s business in China has been systematically and efficiently integrated, covering R&D, procurement, production, commercial operations of Scania and NEXT ERA, as well as all supporting functions. They are the core foundation for the company’s transformation from a traditional vehicle seller to a partner providing integrated transportation solutions.

Looking ahead, Ms. Dewoon stated that as a localized enterprise, the core mission of Scania Group China is to continuously create exceptional value for customers. The company’s top priorities include: collaborating closely with dealer partners to provide tailored solutions for target customers and applications; ensuring the Rugao Industrial Production Base ramps up production in line with world-class standards; and continuously optimizing strategic cooperation with suppliers and partners.

At the same time, Scania will strive to transform the in-depth insights and successful experiences accumulated in the Chinese market into “Chinese wisdom” within the organization, and fully leverage digital and automated technologies to comprehensively enhance operational efficiency.
