On May 22, 2025, the 7th China Western International Investment and Trade Fair grandly opened in Chongqing. With the theme of “New West, New Manufacturing, New Services,” this year’s Western China Fair focuses on new trends in industrial development.

Qingling Motors made a stunning global debut of two new models – the intelligent heavy truck “Lingjie” and the efficient pure electric light truck “Lingkun” – at the Yuelai Convention and Exhibition Center on May 22nd and 23rd, becoming a major highlight of the exhibition. These were showcased alongside Qingling’s pickup trucks, light trucks, heavy trucks, and special vehicles, with a full range of multi-scenario solutions presented at the event. Against the backdrop of accelerated construction in the “New West,” how will these twin stars, shouldering the mission of a global premiere, leverage their leading intelligent and electrified technologies to boost the new pattern of modern logistics and transportation in the western region? And what tangible value innovations will they bring to users?

“Lingjie” Breaks Boundaries: Supercharged Intelligent Heavy Truck Redefines Trunk Logistics Efficiency
Lingjie also stands out in intelligence. Combining Huawei’s technical strengths in intelligent networking, Lingjie not only features an advanced smart cockpit but also deeply integrates vehicle-pile interaction and intelligent driving assistance to enhance operational efficiency and driving experience.

Additionally, lightweight and high-efficiency design are key characteristics of Lingjie. Through material, structural, and system lightweighting, the 352 kWh version of Lingjie has a curb weight of 9.3 tons, a reduction of 1.2 tons from existing models, effectively increasing cargo capacity and helping customers carry more goods and increase profits. According to official estimates, this can generate an additional daily income of approximately 200 to 300 yuan. Meanwhile, Lingjie uses a high-efficiency electric drive axle with a transmission efficiency exceeding 94%, combined with an intelligent energy recovery system, further reducing energy consumption and increasing vehicle range by 15%. Covering short-haul and intercity full-scenario transportation needs, its efficient energy replenishment, intelligent networking, and lightweight design will significantly enhance operational value for trunk logistics users in the western region and across the country.

“Lingkun” Takes the Stage: Efficient Intelligent Light Truck Sets New Standards for Urban Distribution Logistics
Qingling Motors, in collaboration with CATL and Shidai Xin’an, globally premiered the new generation of efficient intelligent pure electric light truck “Lingkun” at the Western China Fair. It has achieved significant breakthroughs in low wind resistance design, high-efficiency power chain, global intelligent control, and full-scenario adaptability. It is equipped with the first high-efficiency flat-wire oil-cooled motor in the light truck industry, with an electromagnetic power density of 7.1 kW/kg; and adopts the industry’s first 7-in-1 highly integrated domain controller for commercial vehicles, greatly improving energy management and thermal management efficiency.

Relying on the leading technologies of CATL and Shidai Xin’an, Lingkun has core advantages in battery, motor, and electronic control systems, such as the first launch of Shidai Xin’an’s Kunshi chassis and other key core technologies. This enables it to achieve a long range of 300 to 500 kilometers and operate stably in a wide temperature range from -30°C to 60°C, fully meeting the needs of urban distribution, cold chain transportation, express delivery, and other scenarios.

The launch of Lingkun marks Qingling’s deepening development towards high-end, intelligent, and scenario-based solutions in the new energy light truck sector. Its strong collaboration with CATL and Shidai Xin’an also sets a new benchmark for the collaborative innovation of three-electric technologies in the industry.

Twin Stars Shine at Western China Fair: Qingling’s “Intelligent Manufacturing” Empowers the New West
The global premiere of Lingjie and Lingkun, two new energy models by Qingling Motors at this Western China Fair, not only showcases its latest achievements in intelligent and electrified technologies but also actively responds to and deeply implements the theme of the era, “New West, New Manufacturing, New Services.”

From the supercharged intelligent heavy truck solving the energy replenishment pain points of trunk logistics to the efficient intelligent light truck defining new standards for urban distribution logistics, Qingling Motors is injecting strong green momentum into the upgrading of the modern logistics system and high-quality economic development in the western region through practical actions. We have reason to expect that these two “rising stars” in Chongqing will not only create greater value for users but also inject new momentum into logistics connectivity and economic and trade development among countries along the “Belt and Road,” promoting higher-level connectivity and green prosperity.
