Based on this situation, Bulletrux “listens to user needs” and has launched a three-phase “step-by-step” product strategy. Among them, Phase 1.0 products are about to be launched, bringing a new atmosphere to the pure electric heavy truck industry.

Bulletrux’s Phase 1.0 products focus on the large-scale sales and promotion of pure electric heavy trucks. To achieve this goal, Bulletrux has deeply insight into the user pain points of traditional “fuel-to-electric converted” heavy trucks, such as high energy consumption caused by low transmission efficiency and poor stability due to the high center of gravity of rear-mounted batteries. Targeting these pain points, Bulletrux has created the Laifu series pure electric tractor, solving traditional drawbacks with targeted design and core technologies.

The Bulletrux Laifu pure electric tractor takes low power consumption, high horsepower, and high safety as its core product design goals. Addressing traditional pain points, it innovatively adopts CTC (Cell to Chassis) integrated technology. This technology deeply integrates the battery pack with the chassis, creating an under-mounted structural layout that increases chassis utilization by 15% compared to traditional models. Within the same chassis space, the Laifu pure electric tractor can achieve higher on-board battery capacity, while its center of gravity is significantly lowered, greatly improving driving stability.

For pure electric heavy trucks, energy utilization rate is a crucial attribute. To enhance energy efficiency, Bulletrux has designed an innovative vehicle thermal management coupling model for the Laifu pure electric tractor. This model integrates the battery circuit, motor circuit, air conditioning system circuit, and heating circuit. By switching different cooling circuit connection methods such as three-way valves and four-way valves, it optimizes energy flow, reduces energy dissipation, lowers overall vehicle energy consumption, and helps the vehicle perform optimally under complex climatic conditions.

Traditional fuel-to-electric converted heavy trucks often face problems of low transmission efficiency and low motor power, resulting in high energy consumption, poor climbing ability, insufficient heavy-load adaptability, and difficulty in tackling complex road conditions such as mountain roads. To solve this problem, the Bulletrux Laifu pure electric tractor is equipped with an innovative integrated electric drive axle system. Compared with traditional central electric drive systems, Bulletrux integrates the motor and axle into one, eliminating the complex transmission links of traditional heavy trucks (gearbox – drive shaft – axle). This structural optimization reduces weight by over 100KG, features high integration and low failure rate, and improves transmission efficiency by more than 10%, ensuring that every bit of power is strongly released. Each of the dual electric drive axles has a peak power of 390kW, equivalent to a total power of approximately 1061 horsepower. With its overwhelming powerful output, it can directly face the challenges of any complex road conditions.

Of course, Bulletrux’s “technological moat” goes far beyond this. Targeting users’ actual operational conditions, Bulletrux has also pioneered the new energy heavy truck intelligent road adaptation system. Through vehicle control algorithms, it predicts road conditions in advance and controls the power system to enter the corresponding mode, achieving optimal economic performance on the basis of good driving performance and improving range. Additionally, Bulletrux has innovatively developed the new energy heavy truck environmental information perception system. By means of precise calibration of braking thresholds and motor braking priority, it creates an innovative optimal air-electric braking distribution strategy. This system significantly improves the vehicle’s energy recovery rate while ensuring the continuous and stable usability of the braking system, extending range and safeguarding safe driving on sections such as long downhill roads.
The Bulletrux Laifu pure electric tractor comes standard with a 400.61kWh CATL battery. Benefiting from the innovative under-mounted battery solution, combined with various advanced technologies and body optimization, it achieves a comprehensive range of over 350 kilometers. Equipped with a 600A dual-gun fast charging system, it can realize “15 minutes of charging, 100 kilometers of driving”, meeting the high-load, high-frequency, and high-intensity usage needs of coal transportation, port outward transportation, and short-distance distribution.

At the earlier 5th 2025 Intelligent Commercial Vehicle Innovation Conference, Cheng Shenghui, Founder and CEO of Bulletrux, stated: The intelligence and electrification of China’s heavy commercial vehicles have entered a critical leap period, but they still face multiple challenges in technology, market, and regulations.
