After leading the dump truck market and successfully establishing a foothold in the tractor market, Shanqi Heavy Duty Truck has now set its sights on the cargo truck market.

Recently, Shanqi Heavy Duty Truck’s two heavyweight cargo trucks, the Delong M6000 and Longji H, officially launched in the domestic market. Including the previous Delong L6000 series and the upcoming Delong G6000 series, Shanqi Heavy Duty Truck has gradually filled the gaps in its cargo truck lineup, gearing up for a strong offensive in the domestic cargo truck market!

Two Heavyweight Models Arrive, Completing Shanqi’s Cargo Truck Product Lineup
As we know, cargo trucks are the backbone of logistics and play a crucial role in economic circulation. Amid the waves of global economic integration and the internet economy, the cargo truck industry is experiencing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. With the rapid growth of e-commerce and global trade, market demand continues to rise. Technological advancements have enhanced fuel efficiency, safety, and smart features of cargo trucks, such as the adoption of autonomous driving technology and the popularization of vehicle networking, which have improved transportation efficiency and reduced operating costs.

The Delong M6000 and Longji H cargo trucks from Shanqi Heavy Duty Truck are designed to meet these modern demands. As high-end flagship cargo truck brands, the Delong M6000 introduces significant technical innovations, equipped with seven “black technologies” including powertrain matching, precise accessory control, AMT shifting control, and fuel-saving driving assistance technology. Specifically, the upgraded powertrain matching allows the Delong M6000 to be equipped with exclusive engines like the P7H320 and P7H300, reducing overall fuel consumption by 3%. Furthermore, the M6000 offers industry-leading comfort, with a 1925mm interior cab space and the widest 750mm lower bunk in the sector, along with AMT controls integrated into the steering column, raising the comfort of domestic cargo trucks to new heights.

For the Longji H, Shanqi made a series of aerodynamic design optimizations to meet market demands, achieving fuel efficiency that is over 5% better than competitors under the same configuration and operating conditions. This means that, over the same mileage, the Longji H cargo truck can save drivers more on operating costs, helping fleets quickly turn a profit.

In terms of powertrain, the Longji H cargo truck is equipped with the Cummins inline 6-cylinder B6.2FE engine, featuring a maximum displacement of 6.2 liters, peak horsepower of 290 hp, and peak torque of 1150 Nm. This powerful engine ensures ample power reserves for key moments like starting and accelerating, guaranteeing transport efficiency. Whether on highways or rugged mountain roads, this engine effortlessly handles challenges, ensuring it operates within the optimal economic speed range. Additionally, the Longji H can be optionally equipped with the Cummins inline six-cylinder B7 engine, offering up to 350 hp, a maximum displacement of 7.0 liters, and peak torque of 1400 Nm. The transient response is improved by 30%, and hill-climbing capability by 20%, effectively addressing challenges like slow hill climbs and difficult starts under heavy loads.
Overall Sales Share Increases to 13% in Two Years, Shanqi Heavy Duty Truck Aims to Strengthen Cargo Truck Market Presence
Since January 2024, facing a sluggish domestic market and fierce industry competition, Shanqi has continued to deepen marketing reforms, emphasizing product leadership and model innovation. From January to September 2024, Shanqi’s overall market share reached 17.1%, maintaining a top-three position in the industry. Shanqi Heavy Duty Truck’s domestic sales exceeded 42,000 units, with a market share surpassing 12.6%, a 0.7 percentage point increase year-on-year, consistently outperforming the market. In September alone, Shanqi’s total sales exceeded 12,000 units, ranking second in the industry. Meanwhile, cargo truck sales exceeded 5,133 units, a year-on-year growth of over 11.5%, with a market share exceeding 6.3%, a 1 percentage point increase, achieving rapid growth in cargo truck sales.

It is especially noteworthy that since its introduction this year, the Delong M6000 flat-floor model has been well-received by customers for its ultra-low fuel consumption, spacious interior, and superior comfort. From January to September, the new M6000 product achieved sales of 432 units, with a year-on-year growth of 1.26 percentage points. The M6000’s excellent comfort and reliability have led to large orders in the agricultural and perishable goods transport sector, and its ultra-low fuel consumption has made it a hot favorite in the express and logistics market.
