After a long transport journey of over 10,000 kilometers, XCMG’s first large-scale export of electric mining trucks, the XGE105, has been delivered to mining areas in Africa, injecting strong power into local mining operations.
This mining area is regarded by the international mining community as having the largest and highest quality undeveloped iron ore reserves in the world, with an overall ore grade exceeding that of ordinary iron ore by more than double and a total resource volume of nearly 5 billion tons.
The XCMG electric mining truck XGE105 is designed with the harsh working conditions of the mining area in mind. It features a dedicated permanent magnet synchronous electric drive system, heavy-duty high-strength axles, and maintenance-free batteries with high shock resistance, forming a golden power chain. Additionally, it is equipped with an efficient energy recovery braking system, front suspension using adjustable damping oil/gas (nitrogen) suspension cylinders, and rear assembly balanced suspension, greatly enhancing vehicle stability. The product has undergone high-intensity field verification across various latitudes and is now sold in multiple countries. Currently, an XGE105 unit has exceeded 100,000 kilometers in driving distance and has been in operation for over 1,200 days, earning high praise from users worldwide for its exceptional reliability and uptime.
Technical training, proactive spare parts management, on-site services, follow-up inspections, and one-on-one spare parts inventory… XCMG’s comprehensive after-sales support ensures the efficient execution of the project. It is reported that XCMG Group will also establish a major components remanufacturing center locally to facilitate technical training while remanufacturing key components.
