With the rapid development of international trade, Shenzhen, with its unique geographical advantages and policy support, has become an important container hub in South China. The road container transportation market is moving towards the direction of intelligence and greenness. However, at the same time, problems such as fierce market competition, high operating costs, and insufficient standardization are gradually emerging. To address the current pain points in the local port transportation industry in Shenzhen, FAW Jiefang “fired three arrows at once” and launched three products specifically designed for the port market: the J6L semi-cab, the J6L large semi-cab, and the J6V SMART. These three models, with the advantages of ultra-low energy consumption, extremely high cost-effectiveness, high driving and riding comfort, and high safety, provide precise solutions for the port transportation industry.
At the meeting, Zhang Jiwei, Deputy General Manager of the Marketing Headquarters of FAW Jiefang and General Manager of the Medium and Heavy-duty Vehicle Sales Company of the Headquarters, and Mei Chunlei, President of Shenzhen Container Transportation Association, attended and witnessed the signing. Li Jingang, Director of the Strategy and MKT Department of the Marketing Headquarters of FAW Jiefang, and Luo Jiangxiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary-General of Shenzhen Container Transportation Association, signed on behalf of both parties respectively. Based on friendly exchanges, the two parties reached a strategic cooperation agreement to purchase 1,000 units throughout the year. The signing of this agreement marks that the two parties will carry out more in-depth cooperation in product research and development, market promotion, etc., and jointly promote the high-quality development of the port logistics industry.

The 25 port tractor products launched by FAW Jiefang this time are tailor-made for the port logistics market. The three models, namely the J6L semi-cab, the J6L large semi-cab, and the J6V SMART, have all achieved significant improvements in power performance, reliability, and intelligence level.
In terms of power, the new products are equipped with the Jiefang Power Domain System, which not only effectively reduces operating costs but also provides the vehicles with strong and stable power output. In terms of cost-effectiveness, by optimizing the configuration and removing redundant designs, the maintenance and repair costs of the new vehicle assemblies and parts are lower, and the vehicle purchase cost is further reduced, bringing higher economic value to users.
At the site of this event, 218 units were subscribed and signed for.
