On July 22, FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “FAW Trucks”) and TGOOD New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TGOOD”) formally signed an agreement to deepen strategic cooperation. The two parties will work together to build a new energy ecosystem and achieve industrial synergy, focusing on the global layout of charging networks for new energy commercial vehicles, and accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation of the global transportation industry. Li Sheng, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of FAW Trucks, and Yu Dexiang, Chairman of Trid Technology and Chairman of TGOOD, attended the signing ceremony.
Through this signing, the two parties will give full play to their respective resource advantages, continue to promote cooperation in the market development of FAW Trucks’ new energy commercial vehicle products, charging network construction and operation, and strive to promote no less than 10,000 heavy-duty truck charging terminals worldwide, build 100 new energy microgrid charging stations, and achieve a cumulative charging capacity of 50 billion kWh.
In terms of product cooperation, the two parties will jointly explore the research and development of new technologies such as high-power charging and automatic charging. In terms of new energy ecosystem cooperation, they plan to explore the construction of integrated optical storage, charging and discharging microgrids to realize efficient recycling of energy. In terms of information cooperation, they will jointly build a data sharing platform to improve operation and maintenance efficiency and user experience. In terms of international cooperation, they will fully expand overseas market layout and jointly promote the implementation of their international strategies. In terms of exploring capital field cooperation, they will rely on their respective industry status and market influence to deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship.
Facing the future, the two parties will thoroughly implement the national “dual-carbon” strategy, continue to build a “sustainable and positive cycle” new energy ecosystem, and with new responsibilities and new strength, lead the green transformation and development of China’s commercial vehicles, and export the “Chinese model” of green and intelligent transportation transformation to the world!
