On May 29, the 2024 Beijing International Commercial Vehicle and Parts Exhibition was successfully held in Beijing, organized by the Ministry of Transport Science Research Institute, the Bus Branch of the China Highway Society, and the Beijing Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
During the event, FAW Trucks held the “China Highway Vehicles Machinery Co., Ltd & FAW Trucks Automotive Co., Ltd Joint Brand Launch Conference.” The ceremony was attended by Yú Chángxìn, Party Committee Member and Executive Vice General Manager of FAW Trucks, Lěng Chángchūn, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Overseas Product Line, Liú Fēng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Highway Vehicles, Zhāng Jiànchén, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Lǐ Yǒng, Deputy General Manager, Wáng Wěi, Financial Director, Liú Yǒng, General Manager of the Overseas Business Department, and Pān Fèngmíng, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Transport Science Research Institute, among other industry representatives.
In 2019, China FAW and China Communications Construction Group (CCCC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement, successfully collaborating on multiple projects. FAW Trucks, as a subsidiary of China FAW, has been deeply involved in these projects, supplying products for major engineering projects in the Americas, Central Asia, and Africa. The joint branded dump truck product unveiled at this exhibition is a customized solution specifically designed for regions like Ethiopia, providing robust support for the partners’ overseas construction projects.
Yú Chángxìn remarked that the release of the joint brand not only showcases the latest achievements of the collaboration but also signifies a deeper and more upgraded partnership between the two central enterprises. Building on a solid foundation of long-term cooperation, FAW Trucks and China Highway Vehicles will continue to focus on the practical needs of overseas markets, jointly developing customized products suitable for various international working conditions.
Liú Fēng praised FAW Trucks’ products and expressed optimism about the market prospects of the joint brand. He looked forward to comprehensive and multi-dimensional cooperation with FAW Trucks in the future, contributing to the high-quality implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative with the combined strength of central enterprises.
