On November 10th, China’s only national-level commercial vehicle exhibition – the 2025 China International Commercial Vehicle Show (CCVS, also known as the Wuhan Auto Show) grandly kicked off at the Wuhan International Expo Center. Currently, the wave of electrification, intelligence, greenization and internationalization is profoundly reshaping the transformation of the commercial vehicle industry. With the theme of “High-end, Intelligent and Green”, this exhibition has become a “vane” indicating the high-quality development of China’s commercial vehicle industry.

At this exhibition, Jianghuai Automobile Group made a brilliant appearance with a variety of its products. Its product lineup covers both traditional energy and new energy vehicles, catering to diverse operating conditions such as urban distribution. Additionally, autonomous delivery vehicles and all-new models co-developed with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) were also on display. Taking the center stage of the booth was a futuristic-looking “new species” of new energy light truck. This is Kunpeng ET9, an all-electric light truck co-created by JAC 1 Truck and CATL, representing their latest masterpiece. Adopting the Kunshi chassis from Times New Energy under CATL, this light truck features an industry-first wedge-shaped cab with an extremely high degree of integration. This design not only endows the vehicle with a sleek appearance that helps reduce air resistance but also creates an interior space with an industry-leading width of 2170mm and a flat-floor high-roof height of 1850mm. Its specifications are even comparable to those of heavy-duty trucks, allowing tall drivers to stretch freely inside—something unimaginable in traditional light trucks.

Beneath its comfortable driving experience and modern minimalist appearance, the Kunpeng ET9 boasts five industry-first technologies. These include a highly integrated 7-in-1 controller, an intelligent multi-source heat pump temperature control system, a high-efficiency liquid turbo flat-wire motor, and a customized constant-temperature Tianxing single-battery pack from CATL. These cutting-edge technologies have maximized the vehicle’s energy utilization efficiency. Compared with light trucks of the same battery capacity and class, the Kunpeng ET9 achieves a driving range extension of over 100 kilometers.

These five pioneering technologies in styling, battery, motor, electronic control, and thermal management have formed an insurmountable “technological moat” for the Kunpeng ET9. It sets an industry benchmark for high efficiency and energy conservation while delivering an excellent actual driving experience. Moreover, the Kunpeng ET9 is produced at a world-class intelligent manufacturing plant for light trucks adhering to the highest global standards. It has undergone rigorous road tests, including full-load verification with a total weight of 9 tons, ensuring exceptional overall reliability. JAC 1 Truck stated, “You just focus on returning with a full load; quality and safety will be your invisible guarantee.” This fully demonstrates its strong strength and confidence in safeguarding users’ profitable operations.

In addition to the Kunpeng ET9, JAC 1 Truck also presented the Vanbaolu V10 all-electric box truck at the exhibition. Adorned in a pink coat and modified into a mobile coffee cart, this vehicle showcases JAC 1 Truck’s strong innovation capability and diverse solution offerings. Built on a purpose-developed all-electric platform and an exclusive chassis for enclosed vehicles, the Vanbaolu V10 has a cargo volume of 10 cubic meters. Equipped with a 63.75kWh battery from CATL, it achieves a CLTC driving range of 345 kilometers. Combined with its electric drive axle and non-load-bearing body design, it serves as an ideal vehicle for “last-mile” logistics.

Also on display was the Shuailing ES9 all-electric light truck. Featuring a rugged exterior design with bold and full front-face lines complemented by C-shaped headlights, it leaves a dynamic and masculine first impression. Powered by a 120kWh battery from CATL and matched with a third-generation flat-wire motor, the vehicle delivers a peak power of 170kW (232 horsepower) and a peak torque of 420N·m. It also boasts advantages such as efficient heat dissipation, light weight, and high efficiency, with dynamic performance on par with diesel engines of the same class.

The Shuailing ES9 is built on a purpose-developed all-electric chassis, featuring an 180 straight-through double-layer frame rail and an 850mm frame span. Its lightweight design not only reduces the overall weight but also enhances load-carrying capacity and driving stability. With a C-WTVC driving range of 353 kilometers and a 2C fast-charging system, it can easily meet the daily operational needs of over 250 kilometers across various scenarios, including cold chain transportation, less-than-carload lot shipping, express delivery, mountainous road transportation, green channel logistics, and intercity and rural transportation.

Meanwhile, JAC 1 Truck exhibited the Shuailing ES6 all-electric light truck. Equipped with CATL’s fourth-generation 100kWh single-battery pack, this model is smaller, lighter, and has higher energy density, achieving a C-WTVC driving range of 328 kilometers. Similarly based on a purpose-developed all-electric chassis, it comes with an 180 straight-through double-layer frame rail, an 800mm frame span, a rear axle with a 1705mm track width, and a 130kW third-generation flat-wire motor. It excels at “carrying more and moving faster”, making it suitable for commercial and trade logistics, laundry delivery, cold chain transportation, express services, and moving services.

In addition to new energy products, JAC 1 Truck also brought traditional diesel-powered vehicles to the exhibition. The Shuailing S7 light truck is equipped with an all-new Cummins B-Series 2.5-liter engine, delivering a maximum power of 180 horsepower and a peak torque of 460N·m. Its powerful performance enables it to tackle steep slopes effortlessly. The engine adopts the second-generation EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) technology, paired with a 9-hole fuel injector and a 2000Bar high-pressure common rail system. This ensures full atomization and combustion of every drop of fuel, significantly improving fuel utilization efficiency.

Next to it, the Shuailing S9 is fitted with an all-new Cummins B-Series 3.0-liter engine—the largest displacement among compliant blue-plate models. It outputs a robust 210 horsepower and 650N·m of peak torque, making climbing winding mountain roads a breeze. Tailored for cold chain transportation, the Shuailing S9 is equipped with exclusive features such as a dual-compressor bracket, dual-belt drive, doubled voltage, doubled battery capacity, thickened wires, one-click idle speed boost, and suspension stabilizer bars. These configurations fully meet the demands of cold chain operations and foster its core competitiveness of “possessing unique advantages and excelling in existing features”.

The all-new Junling A7 features a 1995mm wide cab and a square overall design. Its 90-degree right-angle A-pillars improve driving visibility and expand interior space. The front face is adorned with a “nebula” grille, perfectly integrating aesthetics and technology. Powered by a Ruikang 2.5L engine, it delivers a maximum power of 172 horsepower and a peak torque of 460N·m, ensuring outstanding performance across various road conditions.

The Kaida EX6 on display is a battery-swap electric vehicle. It adopts CATL’s “Chocolate” battery swap system, equipped with an 81kWh battery pack and compatible with both 81kWh and 56kWh battery modules. Supporting both charging and swapping in one integrated system, it alleviates range anxiety, improves operational efficiency, and lays the foundation for maintaining high vehicle value throughout its entire lifecycle. Additionally, the Kaida EX6 is equipped with a 1750mm wide passenger-car-style cab and optimized NVH performance, providing a smooth and comfortable driving experience.

JAC also showcased an autonomous delivery vehicle at the exhibition. As a booming sector in recent years, autonomous delivery vehicles are widely regarded as one of the future development directions for last-mile urban logistics. This vehicle is capable of L4-level autonomous driving, with a response time of 100 milliseconds and centimeter-level positioning accuracy. It offers multiple driving modes, including autonomous driving, on-site remote control, and remote parallel control. Based on the autonomous delivery version, the vehicle can be upgraded into various models such as autonomous vending vehicles, energy-supplement vehicles, cultural tourism vehicles, and closed-area service vehicles, contributing to the development of an intelligent and green society.

JAC Pickup presented the “Heaven and Earth Package” solution for the Hantu PHEV pickup truck at the exhibition. This innovative solution combines agricultural spraying drones with a plug-in hybrid pickup truck. It provides ample power of thousands of Newton-meters for frequent transfers between farmlands and fields. Equipped with a 970-liter large water tank and a 350-watt electric-controlled automatic water pump system, it strongly supports the operation of agricultural spraying drones. This solution vividly embodies the full-scenario value innovation of “pickup trucks + new agriculture + all-terrain mobility”.

In recent years, RV travel has become increasingly popular, reflecting people’s pursuit of a free lifestyle close to nature. At this exhibition, JAC Pickup launched the Hantu Modular Camping RV. Powered by an Ankang 2.0T diesel engine and equipped with a professional four-wheel-drive system, it turns impromptu adventure trips into reality. The vehicle is fitted with an integrated automatic lifting hard-top tent that can be opened and closed with one click, transforming the carriage into a cozy space capable of accommodating three people.

JAC Automobile has always believed that true value lies not in empty promises but in solving practical problems for users with down-to-earth efforts. The exhibits at this exhibition fully demonstrate JAC’s commitment to driving the industry’s transition from the “tool era” to the “value era” through core technologies.
