On July 4th, CATL’s commercial power battery brand, “CATL Tianxing,” was officially launched and first equipped on JAC shuailing ES6 model. This marks a new milestone in the collaboration between the two companies in the field of new energy.

The “Tianxing” product incorporates four major advantages: ultra-safety, super-fast charging, ultra-long lifespan, and ultra-long range, into the new energy commercial vehicle sector. The “CATL Tianxing” brand aims to fully meet the needs of commercial vehicle users for long life, high efficiency, and high returns.

The application of “Tianxing” demonstrates JAC’s continuous innovation in the new energy commercial vehicle field and will bring superior performance and user experience to JAC shuailing ES6 and other products.

In January 2024, JAC light truck and CATL formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The cooperation includes power battery supply, introduction of battery swapping technology, and the development and application of new technologies.

Since signing the cooperation agreement, CATL has continually provided JAC with highly integrated and high-performance power battery solutions, leveraging its excellent technical strength and product advantages. At the same time, JAC has introduced CATL’s battery technology into various products, including new energy light trucks, new energy heavy trucks, passenger cars, and buses, utilizing its deep market insights and product development capabilities.
