On September 17, during the Hannover International Transportation and Logistics Expo in Germany, BYD and CEVA Logistics (Chinese name: 基华物流) jointly announced their collaboration in European logistics and ground transportation. BYD will deliver four ETH8 pure electric trucks in January 2025, continuously supporting CEVA Logistics in achieving its decarbonization strategy.

BYD has been innovating continuously in the field of sustainable transportation, boasting world-leading new energy technologies and over 29 years of experience in power battery research and development. The company offers a comprehensive range of pure electric truck products. The ETH8 is specially designed for European freight logistics systems, featuring a self-developed pure electric truck platform with a range of 250 kilometers and fast-charging capabilities, excelling in performance, energy efficiency, and maintenance costs. After delivery, the four electric trucks will be put into operation in the Netherlands, integrating into CEVA Logistics’ existing ground transportation system.
