Recently, a delegation led by Hyundai Commercial Vehicles’ overseas export manager visited the Ziyang factory in Sichuan for a comprehensive tour. The purpose was to discuss and accelerate the future development of Hyundai Commercial Vehicles’ export business, contributing to the global strategic upgrade and opening a new chapter.

As Hyundai Motor Group’s first overseas commercial vehicle production and sales base, Hyundai Commercial Vehicles is equipped with a complete vehicle test center, a component test center, and a testing ground. Leveraging advanced automation, intelligent equipment, and a global production management system, it has redefined the standards for a new generation commercial vehicle factory.

On the day of the visit, the delegation, accompanied by staff, immersed themselves in the advanced manufacturing standards of the factory. The production lines in the workshop were well-organized, with each process carefully designed and strictly controlled. The production process of the Changuo heavy truck has achieved 100% automated precision operation. Engineers conducted repeated inspections and debugging to ensure the production quality reached the highest standards, showcasing an uncompromising attitude towards details.

With strong and efficient productivity, the focus was on the intrinsic core of the whole vehicle products. In the vehicle display area, delegation members took test drives of various models such as the Xcient, Hongtu EV, and Mighty, highly praising the advanced technology and outstanding performance of the products in the global commercial vehicle field.

“No stability without internal strength, no strength without external expansion.” Since 2023, Hyundai Commercial Vehicles’ pace in overseas market layout has continuously accelerated. As the flagship model globally, the Xcient heavy truck secured 500 orders in the Middle East in early June last year, continuously gaining recognition in global markets for its excellent international quality and comfortable driving experience.

In addition, the core technology roadmap for hydrogen energy will provide crucial technical strength for Hyundai Commercial Vehicles to integrate into overseas target markets, offering differentiated competitive products. Recently, 100 Mighty hydrogen fuel cell light trucks have successfully rolled off the production line and been delivered, achieving a significant breakthrough in the field of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and marking a new stage in the global automotive industry’s green transformation.
