On October 23, 2024, the “Smart Digital Navigation, Driving Efficiency – Volvo Trucks Digital Logistics Sharing Conference” was successfully held in Weifang, Shandong. Several logistics companies from Shandong gathered to discuss key topics surrounding the digital transformation of the logistics industry.

Mr. Guo Tao, Vice President of Sales for Volvo Trucks China, attended the event and shared Volvo Trucks’ achievements and practices in digital innovation to promote high-quality development in China’s logistics sector. As one of the first logistics companies to adopt Volvo Trucks’ digital management platform, Mr. Cui Ziyuan, Chairman of Weifang Runcheng Jiahui Logistics Co., Ltd., shared his experiences of digital transformation at the conference. Since purchasing its first Volvo truck in 2018, Runcheng Jiahui has seen excellent performance in efficiency, safety, and comfort during six years of operations. With Volvo’s customized training and performance management mechanisms, the company has significantly enhanced its operational efficiency.
Cui Ziyuan stated, “After introducing the digital management platform, our fuel consumption, management costs, and route expenses per vehicle have further reduced. Our operations are now more refined, and business growth has reached new heights.” Runcheng Jiahui’s success demonstrates that digitalization is not only a powerful tool for improving logistics efficiency but also a key factor in maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
