Recently, Jiangqi Group successfully held its brand launch conference in the Malaysian market. The event featured the release of the T9 fuel pickup truck and China’s first four-wheel-drive pure electric pickup truck, the T9EV, along with several other models including fuel light trucks and electric light trucks such as the I40, I75, and I90, all of which received unanimous praise from guests and media on-site.

At the event, the first delivery ceremony for electric light trucks in the Malaysian market was also held, alongside a signing ceremony with local strategic partners and eight prospective secondary network partners. This greatly enhanced the confidence of partners, dealers, and major clients, while boosting Jiangqi Group’s brand influence.
It is reported that Jiangqi Group has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia for localized operations, as part of a long-term strategic layout targeting the Malaysian and ASEAN markets. Jiangqi Group will adhere to the strategy of “simultaneously developing commercial and passenger vehicles, and advancing both fuel and electric options,” focusing on new brands, new products, new technologies, and new manufacturing, to deepen its engagement in the Malaysian market. This aims to provide more product choices for users in Malaysia and contribute to the development of new energy vehicles in the country, helping achieve local carbon neutrality goals.
The relevant representative from Malaysia stated that Jiangqi Group’s operations in Malaysia will assist the country in becoming a regional center for vehicle manufacturing and export, while creating employment opportunities for skilled talent locally.
