Recently, the 2024 International Conference on Industry-Academia-Research-Application Cooperation (Hefei) sub-forum—New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles Seminar—was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. Mr. Song Hua, Vice General Manager of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (Jiangqi Group), was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech on the conference theme: “Empowering Innovation through Industry-Academia-Research-Application Cooperation, Creating the Future through Multilateral Collaboration.”
Mr. Song Hua emphasized that Jiangqi Group has made continuous progress in promoting collaborative technological innovation across the industrial chain in recent years. The company has actively advanced industry-academia-research cooperation, engaging in in-depth discussions with universities such as Hefei University of Technology and Hunan University to establish closer innovative partnerships.
By continuously enhancing investment in technological innovation, Jiangqi Group ensures high-quality product output. Currently, the company has achieved mass production of L2+ intelligent driving functionalities and completed the development of L3 intelligent driving functionalities. In May, Jiangqi Group officially obtained testing licenses from Hefei City, while L4 autonomous driving has entered routine demonstration operations under specific scenarios.
In terms of product innovation, Jiangqi Group launched its first hybrid MPV in the first half of 2024, further enriching and expanding its product line. Over the next five years, Jiangqi Group plans to invest over 20 billion RMB in research and development, introducing more than 30 intelligent connected new energy vehicle models. The company will continue to strengthen its mastery and development of independent core technologies across the smart connected new energy vehicle value chain to better support its transformation goals.
Mr. Song Hua stated that the seminar would inspire more innovative ideas, drive breakthrough research, and foster greater industry collaboration, collectively shaping a grand blueprint for the future development of new energy and intelligent connected vehicles.
