Recently, the 31st Annual Meeting of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAECCE 2024) was successfully held at the Science Hall in Chongqing, China, and the project “Key Technologies and Industrialization of Digital Development of Automobile Driving Experience” jointly carried out by FAW Jiefang and the School of Automotive Engineering of Jilin University won the first prize of the 2024 Science and Technology Award of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China.
The project focuses on improving the driving experience of automobiles, and realizes the comprehensive optimization of the human-vehicle-road collaborative driving experience through the innovative application of digital technology. Focusing on the core needs of automobile driving experience, a complete set of digital design and development theory system of human-vehicle-road collaborative automobile driving experience was innovatively proposed, and the experience test method and system based on digital musculoskeletal physiology model were successfully constructed. This achievement has been applied to Jiefang J7, Yingtu, JH6, J6V, J6E, J6G, J6L, light vehicles and other series of models, which has significantly improved the driving comfort and promoted the improvement of customer satisfaction of Jiefang products. In addition, through the breakthrough of this technology, it is possible to predictively evaluate driving comfort at the data stage, greatly reducing product development costs.
The close cooperation between FAW Jiefang and Jilin University has enabled both sides to achieve fruitful results in talent training and scientific research and innovation. The award is not only a high recognition of the research of automotive engineering technology by both teams, but also an encouragement for us to continue to explore more possibilities in the field of intelligent vehicles and promote the development of China’s automobile industry to a higher level.
