CATL Tianxing II Light Commercial Ultra-Fast Charging Version

Tailored for high-frequency urban distribution scenarios, it features systematic upgrades in cold resistance, power output and lifespan performance. At -15℃, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes, a reduction of approximately 30% compared to the previous generation. In terms of power performance, the full-range discharge power is increased by 30%; at -15℃, the battery supports the vehicle to run at 100 km/h at full load and climb 15° steep slopes under the same temperature and load conditions. The cycle life of the battery cells has been significantly increased to 8,000 cycles, enabling the vehicle to travel an additional 80,000 kilometers throughout its lifecycle, translating to an additional freight income of RMB 150,000. This upgrade focuses on battery performance enhancement and lifespan extension, helping automakers seamlessly upgrade their entire vehicle products and effectively enabling frontline users to carry more, travel further and earn more.

CATL Tianxing II Light Commercial Long-Range Version

Committed to significantly improving the economics of intercity trunk line operations, this battery is equipped with the world’s first light commercial ultra-hybrid chemical system cells, integrating the advantages of ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate to achieve a perfect balance of high safety, high energy density and economy. With a single-pack capacity of 253kWh, it is the largest in the light commercial vehicle industry. Equipped with this battery, the vehicle can achieve an ultra-long real-world range of 800 kilometers, easily covering mainstream intercity routes such as Guangzhou to Fuzhou without mid-way energy replenishment. Meanwhile, the battery features the highly integrated “Taishan PACK” architecture, helping the vehicle reduce weight by more than 260kg under the same single-pack capacity, further lowering operational costs. In addition, the battery warranty is upgraded to 10 years or 1 million kilometers, with zero capacity attenuation in the first year. It also applies self-lithium-supplementing cathode materials and self-healing electrolyte technology to further extend battery life, providing users with greater peace of mind during operations.

CATL Tianxing II Light Commercial High-Temperature Ultra-Fast Charging Version

Focusing on last-mile logistics scenarios, it aims to address the pain points of highly volatile vehicle operation rhythms and users’ cost sensitivity. The battery supports a peak 4C ultra-fast charging, enabling 60% energy replenishment in as fast as 18 minutes, achieving 10 kilometers of range per minute of charging. Meanwhile, the battery’s unique “high-temperature side reaction self-suppression technology” not only helps simplify the vehicle’s thermal management design but also reduces energy consumption by an additional 5%, saving users an extra RMB 500 in charging costs annually. Based on this technology, even when the battery cell temperature reaches 45℃, the battery cycle life can still reach 5,000 cycles. The maximum warranty is 8 years or 600,000 kilometers, achieving “battery lifespan matching vehicle lifespan”.

CATL Tianxing II Light Commercial Low-Temperature Version

As the first mass-produced sodium-ion battery in the light commercial vehicle sector, it can directly meet the operational challenges in extremely cold regions. With a capacity of 45kWh, it is compatible with various models such as small and medium-sized VANs and micro-trucks, breaking the final barrier for the national popularization of new energy commercial vehicles. At -20℃, the battery retains more than 92% of available capacity; even when the battery cells are completely frozen at -30℃, it can still be charged immediately after being plugged in. At the same temperature, even when extremely depleted to 10% SOC, it can still climb 10° slopes at full load, providing solid support for operations in alpine regions. Safety is the red line for commercial vehicle operations and the product bottom line that CATL adheres to. In extreme tests such as sawing, drilling and multi-directional extrusion, the sodium-ion battery cells do not catch fire or explode, and can still discharge normally after being sawed, ensuring driving safety.

“Battery Manager” Tianxing Edition App: Making the Battery Lifecycle Perceivable, Understandable and Controllable

For users in the light commercial vehicle sector, the battery is not only the core power source but also a key asset. At the launch conference, CATL simultaneously launched the industry’s first intelligent power battery management App for light commercial vehicles – “Battery Manager” Tianxing Edition, helping frontline users truly use and manage their batteries well, and further grasp the certainty and initiative of their businesses.

1. Transparent Status

The App allows users to fully monitor the entire lifecycle usage of the battery, calculate and visualize income data in real time, maximizing profits and refining management.

2. Proactive Alerts

The App conducts real-time analysis and monitoring of battery operation data, proactively identifies potential risks and issues early warnings. Meanwhile, the App enables one-click direct connection to the official after-sales platform “Ningjia Service” and navigates users to the nearest service outlet. In case of failures, users can directly contact CATL’s original engineers through the App, who will arrive at the scene for handling within 3 hours at the earliest.

3. Scenario-Based Charging

The App offers three charging modes – standard, health and emergency – which can be flexibly switched according to application scenarios. For example, during peak logistics seasons when users are in urgent need of power, the “Battery Manager” supports one-click activation of the emergency ultra-fast charging mode, allowing users to quickly replenish energy without missing orders.

CATL Tianxing II Light Commercial Battery Swapping Version

In addition, CATL also introduced a battery swapping solution at the conference – the CATL Tianxing II Light Commercial Battery Swapping Version. This solution includes three standard battery packs: 20#-42kWh, 25#-56kWh and 35#-81kWh, compatible with all light commercial vehicle models to achieve precise demand matching. Currently, more than 20 light commercial vehicle models have been launched with battery swapping packs, providing logistics drivers with more vehicle purchase options.
