On November 19, Sinotruk Group and BOE Technology Group held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Jinan. The event was attended by Chen Yanshun, Chairman and Executive Committee Chairman of BOE Technology Group; Man Shugang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group; and Wang Zhijian, Deputy Party Secretary, General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Party Secretary and Chairman of Sinotruk Group. The leaders also participated in discussions during the event.
Man Shugang stated that Shandong Heavy Industry’s business segments are currently maintaining a favorable development trend, with continuous optimization of market structure and industry-leading operational efficiency. He emphasized the strong foundation established through long-term cooperation between BOE and Sinotruk and expressed hope for deeper, broader, and higher-quality collaboration between BOE and Shandong Heavy Industry. By adhering to a customer-centric approach, both parties should strengthen collaborative R&D, leverage complementary advantages, and grow together. He highlighted BOE’s leading expertise in products and technology as a means to enhance the differentiated competitive advantage of Shandong Heavy Industry’s products, jointly addressing global market and technological challenges.
Chen Yanshun remarked that both Shandong Heavy Industry and BOE are characterized by high levels of market orientation, internationalization, and technological sophistication, presenting vast potential for collaboration. He expressed hope for further integration of the industrial chain’s R&D capabilities, with a focus on customer needs. He suggested establishing a rapid response mechanism encompassing R&D, testing, and mass production to jointly promote the application of in-vehicle smart cockpit display solutions, deepen research and application of forward-looking technologies, and lead technological innovation and upgrading in the commercial vehicle industry.
Wang Xiping, Executive Director and Executive Vice President of BOE, and Liu Zhengtao, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Sinotruk, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
