On April 22, 2025, Zhang Zhiyong, General Manager of GAC commercial vehicles(chinese name:GAC Lingcheng), attended the Huawei Smart Electric and Smart Charging Network Strategy and New Product Launch Conference. At the conference, Huawei Digital Power, together with commercial vehicle brands such as Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles, BAIC Foton, Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile, XCMG Automobile, GAC Lingcheng, and DeepWay, jointly released the “Supercharging Alliance 2.0”. The aim is to create a megawatt-level supercharging network covering all scenarios through technological innovation and ecological collaboration, and to push the electrification of commercial vehicles into a new era of standardization and large-scale development.

The “Supercharging Alliance 2.0” takes “open collaboration and technological leadership” as its core concept. Huawei Digital Power will work with partners like GAC Lingcheng to jointly formulate supercharging technical standards for commercial vehicles, develop charging solutions compatible with multiple scenarios, and accelerate the penetration of heavy-duty truck electrification from closed scenarios to all scenarios such as trunk logistics and urban distribution. This cooperation will significantly improve the efficiency of logistics transportation, help the industry achieve the “Double Carbon” goal, and open a new chapter in green and intelligent logistics.
Hou Jinlong, a director of Huawei and President of Huawei Digital Power, learned about the various parameter indicators of the GAC Lingcheng T9 on site and hoped to implement the mass production of supercharging as soon as possible. Yu Weidong, the Chief Technology Officer, had in-depth technical exchanges with Huawei Digital Power’s technical experts. The 1.4MW fast charging can not only improve the charging efficiency but also help improve the operation efficiency of the charging site. The two sides jointly explored the development of the supercharging ecosystem and were full of confidence in the application of supercharging heavy-duty trucks.

GAC Lingcheng has always been committed to technological innovation and the implementation of industrialization. By accelerating the research and development of intelligent three-electric systems and independently developing the entire stack of electric drive, battery, and electronic control, it continuously improves the vehicle’s energy efficiency and charging compatibility, laying a solid foundation for the large-scale application of the supercharging network. This joint construction of the “Supercharging Alliance 2.0” with Huawei not only deepens the technical collaboration between the two sides but also promotes the unification of industry standards and the integration of ecological resources, accelerating the arrival of the all-electric logistics era.
“The ‘Supercharging Alliance 2.0’ is not only a technological breakthrough but also a reconstruction of the industrial ecosystem.” Zhang Zhiyong said that in the future, under the framework of the alliance, GAC Lingcheng will jointly develop a new generation of intelligent heavy-duty trucks adapted to the megawatt-level supercharging network with Huawei, deeply integrating Huawei’s advantages in digital energy management and AI algorithms to create an integrated solution of “vehicle-pile-cloud”. Through complementary resources and co-creation of scenarios, the two sides will lead the transformation of commercial vehicles towards electrification, intelligence, and networking, injecting new impetus into the green transformation of the global logistics industry.
