On the morning of August 29, the 10,000th new energy vehicle of FAW Trucks Sichuan Branch successfully rolled off the production line. With the outstanding “FAW Speed”, the branch firmly implemented FAW Group’s “All in” new energy strategy. On April 15, 2024, FAW Trucks Sichuan Branch obtained the new energy vehicle production qualification approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China. Supported by FAW Trucks’ strong strategic system, the Sichuan Branch implemented precise policies, seized policy support, efficiently integrated resources, optimized production organization, and overcame difficult operations, achieving rapid improvement and stable operation of new energy product production capacity, and a leapfrog breakthrough in the mixed-flow manufacturing capacity of the production line. The daily production capacity of new energy vehicles exceeded 80 units, the monthly output ratio continued to rise (with the highest ratio exceeding 60%), and the branch achieved the breakthrough from 0 to 10,000 new energy vehicles in only 16 months! This landmark achievement fully demonstrates FAW Jiefang’s strong manufacturing strength and strategic transformation determination in the field of new energy commercial vehicles.
With the core goal of “radiating the western region and efficient performance”, the Sichuan Branch has fully leveraged its regional advantages to effectively meet customers’ urgent needs for delivery timeliness.
