Recently, BYD participated in the Mexico Commercial Vehicle Show with a range of new energy commercial vehicles, making a grand debut of two all-new models: the pure electric coupe truck T35 (Latin American version) and the van V9. This is not only another important move following the coupe truck’s debut in Japan and domestic launch, but also further enriches BYD’s overseas product matrix. With passenger-car-level quality and standards, it injects new green, safe, and efficient momentum into urban “last-mile” logistics, showcasing the solid strength of Chinese new energy vehicles to the world.

As the largest and most professional commercial vehicle event in the Americas, this year’s Mexico Show gathered over 500 global commercial vehicle manufacturers and component enterprises, including established European and American giants and powerful Asian companies, to showcase advanced technologies and innovative solutions on the same stage.
Mexico, as a key global automotive manufacturing and export base with annual commercial vehicle sales exceeding 500,000 units, has become a crucial market for many brands. With the rapid development of e-commerce and urban logistics in Latin America, Mexico’s demand for small, highly adaptable, and low-operating-cost light commercial vehicles has surged. At this show, BYD’s official launch of the pure electric coupe truck T35 and van V9 is a technical response based on in-depth insights into the local “last-mile” logistics needs.
Addressing the common high-load transportation scenario of light trucks in the Mexican market, the T35 (Latin American version) is an exclusive dual-tire heavy-load variant, with a load capacity increased from 1,500kg to 2,600kg. Adopting the CTC (Cell to Chassis) integrated design, it not only improves structural efficiency but also frees up more modification space, flexibly adapting to various superstructures and efficiently matching the diverse local urban distribution scenarios.
Both the T35 (Latin American version) and V9 are equipped with BYD’s high-safety blade batteries, featuring passenger-car-oriented design through forward development. They strive to deliver a passenger-car-level comfortable experience while integrating functions such as ventilated and heated seats, wireless phone charging, and driving assistance.

Previously, BYD’s all-new coupe truck T4 made its global launch at the China International Commercial Vehicle Show (Wuhan). Combining the economic practicality of trucks with the safety and comfort of passenger cars, it broke the rigid impression that “small trucks are just transportation tools” and redefined the pure electric coupe truck category.
From its global debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan, to its official launch at the Wuhan Commercial Vehicle Show in China, and now to the further localized adaptation unveiled at the Mexico Show, BYD’s new energy commercial vehicles represented by the all-new coupe truck are reshaping urban logistics standards and deepening global market layout with solid technology and product strength.

In the future, BYD will continue to actively promote truck electrification with a richer product lineup, more mature solutions, and more pragmatic localization strategies, contributing Chinese strength to the global green transformation of logistics.
