On November 27, the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference kicked off in Nanjing. At the conference, Weichai’s project “High-End Engine Intelligent Factory Based on Digital-Intelligent Lean Model” was successfully selected into the first batch of Pilot-Leading Intelligent Factory Cultivation List, becoming a benchmark for the intelligent transformation of China’s equipment manufacturing industry.
A total of 15 enterprises were selected into the first batch of national “Pilot-Leading Intelligent Factory” cultivation list, representing the highest level of intelligent manufacturing in China. Prior to this, Weichai and its subsidiaries had successively had 5 units selected into the Excellent-Level Intelligent Factory list. This advancement from “Excellent” to “Pilot-Leading” further demonstrates Weichai’s leading advantages in digital-intelligent transformation. At the conference, Weichai, together with other selected enterprises, jointly launched the Joint Initiative on Pilot-Leading Action Plan. As an industry leader, it aims to promote the formation of a collaborative development ecosystem in the field of intelligent manufacturing and inject new momentum into the construction of a manufacturing power.
Weichai’s confidence to lead stems from the in-depth practice of “digital-intelligent lean model”. At the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Expo held concurrently, Weichai comprehensively demonstrated the in-depth application of AI in various business scenarios through five major sectors: AI R&D, AI Manufacturing, AI Sales & Service, AI Product Solutions, and AI Power.
