Recently, Scania’s industrial production base in Rugao, Jiangsu, marked a milestone moment: the first batch of locally manufactured Super trucks officially rolled off the production line and were delivered. This significant progress signifies that Scania’s “Strategy 2.0” for the Chinese market has entered an accelerated phase, making the long-awaited locally produced Super trucks accessible to Chinese customers. Scania’s professional sales and service team has fully launched the new vehicle delivery process to ensure customers can experience the outstanding performance of Scania Super trucks as soon as possible, while enjoying the consistent full-lifecycle after-sales support and services.

The Super trucks delivered in Rugao this time strictly adhere to Scania’s global unified production standards, ensuring Chinese customers receive the same top-tier product performance as those in global markets. Benefiting from localized production, Scania has achieved systematic optimization of supply chain responsiveness and delivery processes. The cycle from customer ordering to vehicle pickup will be significantly shortened, enabling customers to put the vehicles into efficient operation faster and seize market opportunities.

David Källsäter, Managing Director of Scania Sales (China) Co., Ltd., stated: “We understand customers’ urgent needs for efficient logistics and recognize the importance of time costs to their businesses. One of the core values of localized production is the significant improvement in response speed, allowing us to deliver products to customers more quickly. Today, Chinese customers can experience the outstanding performance of this world-class truck at a faster pace.”

In the future, Scania Sales China will continue to rely on the Rugao industrial production base to further expand its localized product portfolio, strengthen its supply guarantee capabilities and customer response speed in the Chinese market, and provide Chinese customers with more efficient and reliable transportation solutions.
