In early March, the first batch of 100 Farizon 200kW Xinghan G hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks rolled off the production line. This marks China’s first large-scale production of 200kW hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks, inaugurating a new chapter in the commercialization of high-power hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks in the country. Developed and produced jointly by Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicles and Rongcheng Xinneng Group, a total of 600 units are planned for production. The first batch of 100 units that rolled off the production line this time will be delivered at Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicles’ Tianjin plant in mid-March.

This successful roll-off of the production line not only represents Farizon’s innovative breakthrough in the field of hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks but also another important achievement of the cooperation between Farizon and Rongcheng Xinneng. After the vehicles are put into operation, they will support the further extension of hydrogen energy collection and distribution transportation in Tianjin Port and Huanghua Port to places such as Chengde in Hebei, Changzhi in Shanxi, and Baotou in Inner Mongolia. They will continue to expand the scope of inter-provincial long-distance trunk transportation and help upgrade the green transportation capacity in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
As the first domestic commercial vehicle brand focusing on the new energy field, Farizon has always adhered to the two core technical routes of “methanol-hydrogen + electric”. By focusing on the actual needs of the market and users, it continuously enriches the power forms, expands the application scenarios, promotes the research and development and upgrading of new energy heavy trucks, and empowers users with high-value, all-scenario transportation capacity solutions. The Xinghan G series of heavy trucks is a high-end model in the industry created by Farizon for new energy heavy truck scenarios based on the GXA-T digital intelligence architecture. It has core advantages such as a home-like environment, intelligence, high reliability, and economy, and can be equipped with multiple power sources such as pure electric, methanol-hydrogen electric, and hydrogen fuel, customizing the best products and comprehensive solutions for users according to different scenarios.

The 200kW Xinghan G hydrogen fuel cell heavy truck that rolled off the production line this time is a product upgraded and developed by Farizon according to actual needs. It has better energy consumption performance, a longer driving range, stronger scenario adaptability, and higher safety guarantees. While helping users operate efficiently, it will further accelerate the promotion and popularization of new energy heavy trucks in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Energy Consumption and Driving Range
Configurations such as the 200kW high-power fuel cell system and the dedicated drive axle for the new energy platform achieve high efficiency and energy conservation, reducing energy consumption by 10% compared with similar products. Calculated based on an annual operating mileage of 100,000 kilometers, it can save users more than 100,000 yuan in 5 years. The vehicle’s hydrogen storage capacity reaches 62kg, and the driving range is increased by 25% compared with similar products, successfully exceeding 700 kilometers. At the same time, through the upgrade of the thermal management architecture and control strategy, the waste heat of the fuel cell is utilized. In winter, there is no reduction in the driving range, and the temperature in the cab is also guaranteed.
Power Performance
In order to meet the needs of customers in various working conditions, the whole vehicle is equipped with a drive motor with a peak power of 450kW, which has strong power and is suitable for all-weather and all-working-condition scenarios. It can calmly meet the power requirements in extreme working conditions such as extremely cold and high-temperature environments.
Safety Aspects
Safety is comprehensively considered. The vehicle is equipped with high-definition four-directional imaging, which greatly reduces the blind spots in the field of vision. Hydrogen concentration sensors are configured in the whole vehicle, the fuel cell, and the hydrogen supply system to monitor the hydrogen concentration in real time and give early warnings. In case of problems, the hydrogen source is cut off in a timely manner to ensure the safety of hydrogen use. At the same time, Farizon has strengthened the safety of the hydrogen storage system. Type IV bottles are applied in large quantities for the first time. They are lighter in weight and can withstand higher pressure. The gas cylinders have undergone more than 45,000 fatigue tests, strict bursting tests, and meet the requirements of the 8g impact test. The above characteristics ensure that the hydrogen system is safer and is superior to mainstream products in the industry.

The roll-off of the production line of the 200kW Farizon Xinghan G hydrogen fuel cell heavy truck once again verifies YuanCheng’s outstanding strength in the research, development, and manufacturing of hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks. In the future, Farizon will join hands with industry ecological partners, deeply cultivate the development and promotion of new energy commercial vehicles, drive the efficient upgrading of the industry with diversified new energy solutions, help the industry and users reduce costs and increase efficiency, and contribute to China’s achievement of green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.
