On April 3, 2025, FORLAND MOTORS, together with its local partner, launched a new light – truck product matrix in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, officially starting to serve the Uruguayan market. This is another important move in FORLAND MOTORS’ globalization strategy in 2025 following its entry into Morocco and Colombia, marking a new stage in its business expansion in South America. The launch event of FORLAND MOTORS in Uruguay attracted extensive participation from representatives of the manufacturer, dealership management, industry media, key customers, and representatives of banking institutions.

Han Changliang, General Manager of FORLAND MOTORS’ South America Region, said in his speech: “The successful launch of FORLAND MOTORS in Uruguay is just the beginning. At this launch event in Uruguay, FORLAND MOTORS introduced six light – truck models for logistics, covering diverse usage scenarios from urban distribution to medium – distance transportation between cities. The six newly launched products not only meet the diversified logistics needs of the Uruguayan market but also meet Euro V emissions standards ahead of time, leading the requirements of Uruguayan industry regulations.
