On September 5, a ceremony was held in Tarlac to mark the first vehicle rolling off the assembly line at SINOTRUK’s Philippine plant. A brand-new SINOTRUK truck slowly drove out of the factory gates, its robust design showcasing SINOTRUK’s outstanding manufacturing capabilities and technical strength.

Teams from both China and the Philippines jointly witnessed this milestone. The successful production of the first vehicle is the culmination of the wisdom and collaboration of many individuals and represents a significant achievement for SINOTRUK and its Philippine partners in the automotive manufacturing sector. Adhering to the principle of “taking root locally and serving the market,” the KD (Knock-Down) project team for the Philippine division overcame numerous challenges. They precisely coordinated domestic and international resources, strictly controlled production quality, and worked closely with dealers to successfully establish the SINOTRUK assembly plant in the Philippines. This accomplishment enables the local assembly of chassis and the local production of cargo boxes, providing dealers with more supply chain options and effectively shortening vehicle delivery times.

This move significantly enhances SINOTRUK’s responsiveness and delivery capabilities in the Philippine market. It demonstrates the company’s determination and strength in advancing its internationalization strategy and deepening local cooperation. It is also a key step for SINOTRUK’s localized production in the Philippines and the broader Southeast Asian region.
