On January 15, Shandong Heavy Industry Group convened its 2026 Annual Work Conference in Weifang. The event reviewed and summarized the group’s 2025 business performance, analyzed the internal and external situation, and systematically arranged the development strategy for the 15th Five-Year Plan period as well as the key tasks for 2026.

The conference recognized advanced units, pioneer teams and corporate culture stars of 2025, announced its seventh business segment – Power Energy, and signed 2026 business target responsibility certificates. Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, delivered a speech titled New Starting Point, New Journey, New Leap Forward: Striding Ahead Toward the Vision of Building a World-Class Enterprise. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Board, presided over the conference.
In 2025, Shandong Heavy Industry Group seized opportunities presented by the industry’s structural growth and export market expansion, effectively addressed competition challenges in domestic and overseas markets, and delivered a high-quality development report card. The group achieved an annual operating revenue of 604.5 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 9.9%. Its operational quality and efficiency continued to improve, market competitiveness was significantly enhanced, the layout of export business was comprehensively deepened, overseas industrial development maintained steady progress with improved quality, and strategic transformation and upgrading gathered strong momentum.

Wang Zhijian pointed out that looking ahead to 2030, guided by the mission of “Empowering with Technology, Equipping a Better World”, the group will fully accelerate its strategic transformation toward greenization, globalization, digitalization and ecologization, and speed up the construction of a world-class transnational group specializing in high-end equipment with leading-edge technology and green development. The group will measure its future success against the “Four World-Class Standards”:

Wang Zhijian emphasized that in 2026, the group will strive to open up a new phase of high-quality development and set its sights on higher goals. He put forward the following key initiatives:

- Adhere to local rooting and brand upgrading to ensure stronger momentum in export business

Wang Zhijian called for relentless efforts to stay at the forefront and strive for excellence, with the goal of building a “Four-Type” new team to secure future success:

The conference commended advanced enterprises that won awards for Outstanding Performance, Outstanding Contribution, New Energy Transformation and Development, and Digital-Intelligent Transformation and Development. It also honored advanced teams recognized as Technology Innovation Pioneer Teams, Market Development Pioneer Teams, and Collaborative Efficiency Pioneer Teams, as well as outstanding individuals in corporate culture who were named Science and Technology Innovation Stars, Quality Stars, Intelligent Manufacturing Stars, Efficiency Stars, Marketing Stars and Service Stars.

The conference officially launched the group’s seventh business segment – Power Energy, marking its full-scale entry into global businesses such as power generation equipment for data centers and solid oxide fuel cells, aiming to foster new strategic growth drivers.

Wang Zhijian signed 2026 business target responsibility certificates with affiliated enterprises. Key leaders of Weichai Group, Sinotruk, Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Weichai Lovol Intelligent Agriculture, Zhongtong Bus and KION Group delivered speeches to express their commitment to the goals.

After the conference, participants visited the Shandong Heavy Industry New Product Technology Exhibition.
Attendees included over 700 people, such as members of the group’s headquarters and key affiliated companies’ management teams, middle-level leaders, management personnel of overseas subsidiaries, overseas representatives, as well as model workers and advanced representatives from all sectors of the group.
