M9T Hybrid-Dedicated Engine with 46.2% Thermal Efficiency Sets a New Industry Benchmark
In the technological iteration of new diesel engines, improving thermal efficiency has always been recognized as a core challenge in the industry. With a displacement of 2.3 liters, the M9T hybrid-dedicated engine can be matched with pickup trucks, light buses, light trucks, SUVs, and other models. Based on the optimization of mechanical, motor, and electronic control efficiency, its transmission efficiency reaches 91.22%, effectively reducing transmission losses.
4.5T Hybrid Light Truck Achieves Ultra-Low Fuel Consumption of 6.8L/100km Under CHTC Working Conditions.At the vehicle control level, Dongfeng Co., Ltd.’s 4.5T hybrid light truck innovatively integrates fuel consumption simulation and real-vehicle energy flow testing, developing and applying deep energy-saving algorithms and dual-source thermal management strategies. It has successfully overcome the technical challenge of efficient coordination of multiple power sources. Equipped with the high-efficiency hybrid-dedicated engine and planetary gear coupling assembly, the vehicle’s fuel consumption under CHTC-LT working conditions is as low as 6.8L/100km, achieving a fuel saving of over 30% per 100 kilometers.
