On March 1st, after 47 days since their last meeting, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. and Zoomlion Concrete Machinery Co., Ltd. engaged in another round of strategic cooperation discussions, conducting in-depth exchanges on commodities, services, overseas markets, and other aspects to comprehensively deepen their strategic partnership.
The meeting was attended by Zhang Xiaofan, General Manager of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, Huang Jianbing, Assistant President and General Manager of Concrete Machinery Company at Zoomlion Heavy Industry, Ouyang Wenzhi, Executive Deputy General Manager of Concrete Machinery Company at Zoomlion Heavy Industry, as well as leaders from Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle’s functional departments, representatives from the technical center, marketing and sales, and the aftermarket business unit.
During the meeting, both parties discussed Zoomlion’s demands for product performance, lightweighting, and electrification in 2024, exploring solutions for energy consumption optimization and service quality improvement. Simultaneously, they reviewed their past collaborative efforts and reached strategic consensus on future cooperation and development.
Zhang Xiaofan expressed that this discussion provided new ideas for optimizing the overall value of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, offering a fresh perspective on comprehensive matching values. It also explored new models for strategic cooperation. Taking this opportunity, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle’s entire value chain will focus on enhancing Zoomlion’s value, actively seizing the window of new energy development, benchmarking and learning, continuously building cost and performance advantages, and improving marketing and service capabilities for mutual and sustainable development.
Huang Jianbing stated that the electrification of new energy is one of the main directions for Zoomlion’s product transformation and upgrading. He hopes that Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle can fully leverage its R&D and manufacturing advantages to accelerate innovation in electrification and lightweighting commodities, enrich the new energy product matrix and replenishment methods, jointly bringing a green, efficient, safe, reliable, and intelligent experience to global customers.
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and Zoomlion Concrete Machinery Co., Ltd. have been cooperating for 14 years. In the past two years, building on their cooperation in the field of on-board pumps, they have gradually expanded their cooperation into the concrete machinery sector. The jointly developed 12-cubic-meter fuel mixing truck has become an industry hit, while the extreme lightweight 8-cubic-meter fuel mixing truck has set an industry benchmark, leading the concrete transportation industry towards standardized transformation. In addition, the jointly developed 3/4/5-axle pump truck has been gradually introduced to the market, becoming a “lighthouse” product in the specialty vehicle segment, earning recognition and trust from end customers.
