On August 12, the press conference for the 2025 China International Commercial Vehicle Show (CCVS) was held in Beijing. Leaders from the show’s host and co-organizing units, as well as journalists from over 50 media outlets, attended the event.

The 2025 China International Commercial Vehicle Show (CCVS) will take place at the Wuhan International Expo Center from November 10 to 13. Held biennially in odd-numbered years, it is China’s only national-level commercial vehicle exhibition and currently the largest commercial vehicle show in Asia. Since its inauguration in 2012, it has successfully hosted six editions, becoming the preferred professional exhibition for major domestic and international commercial vehicle enterprises.
The theme of this year’s show is “High-End, Intelligent, Green,” with an expected exhibition area of 80,000 square meters and over 60,000 professional visitors.

Since the start of the “14th Five-Year Plan,” China’s commercial vehicle industry has undergone a critical period of transformation from high-speed growth to high-quality development. Guided by innovation and centered on developing new productive forces, energy structure transformation has driven an all-round upgrade of the entire industry.
In 2025, China will continue to accelerate reform efforts, with investment, exports, and consumption driving growth. As policy “combinations” take effect, the macroeconomic outlook remains optimistic. Against this backdrop, demand in China’s commercial vehicle market is slowly recovering, with significant opportunities for structural growth. As new energy commercial vehicles and exports continue to rise, market demand and the industrial ecosystem are undergoing profound changes.
The theme “High-End, Intelligent, Green” will fully showcase the latest achievements of China’s commercial vehicle industry in high-quality development and the cultivation of new productive forces. New energy, intelligent commercial vehicles, and their components will be the “stars” of the show. Over four days, the exhibition will provide enterprises with a platform for brand and information dissemination, a communication hub for users and industrial chain stakeholders, and a product trading platform, serving as a “weather vane” for the latest technologies and product trends in China’s commercial vehicle sector.

Key strengths of CCVS include the growing number of domestic and international professional visitors (especially users from industries such as infrastructure and logistics), full interaction across the industrial chain, and extensive coverage by domestic and foreign media. To date, overseas visitor groups from South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Africa have expressed interest in attending.
From its inception, the show has focused on meeting the needs of exhibitors and professional visitors, gathering resources to host diverse concurrent activities. It has created a new type of commercial vehicle exhibition integrating conferences and exhibitions, combining “static” displays with “dynamic” experiences. This allows domestic and international commercial vehicle enterprises to build brands, expand markets, interact with industrial chain partners, and secure product orders through participation. After years of effort, the show has gained widespread attention, support, and recognition from the commercial vehicle and logistics industries, becoming the most important and influential international platform for display, exchange, and trade in China’s commercial vehicle sector.

At this year’s show, intelligent products will take center stage. As trucks accelerate toward mid-to-high-end development and product iteration speeds up, intelligent trucks are becoming mainstream in the market. These vehicles, equipped with intelligent technologies to address industry pain points and challenges, will be showcased prominently.
The number of new energy commercial vehicles (electric, hydrogen, hybrid, methanol, etc.) on display will far exceed that of traditional fuel-powered models, becoming the main highlights; electric trailers will make their debut.
The number of exhibitors specializing in special-purpose vehicles and components will increase significantly, with richer exhibits boasting higher technical standards and quality. Among them, the number of new energy logistics vehicles and engineering special-purpose vehicles will continue to rise; more renowned domestic and international truck and bus component enterprises will participate, along with new energy (battery, etc.) and intelligent technology companies.
Concurrent activities will be more diverse. Industry organizations, media, and exhibitors will host forums, award ceremonies, technical seminars, new product launches, and promotional events during the show, with on-site vehicle transaction volumes expected to grow further.
The show will continue to feature an outdoor dynamic demonstration area for unmanned vehicle displays, test rides, and test drives.
A dedicated cold chain exhibition zone will return, showcasing refrigerated trucks, related components, as well as application scenarios and operational models.
This year’s exhibition will serve as a landmark event to drive high-quality development in the commercial vehicle industry and foster new productive forces. It will showcase collaborative innovation achievements across the entire commercial vehicle industrial chain and witness China’s commercial vehicle industry entering a new energy inflection point and a global growth boom.
Supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China International Commercial Vehicle Show (CCVS) is hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Automotive Industry Branch.
