
Yuchai and Foton have been collaborating for over 20 years, working closely on localization projects in Thailand, including factory construction, product certification, and local manufacturing certification. To date, the Yuchai Thailand factory has completed its opening and has entered the mass production stage. In 2025, the Yuchai Thailand factory will invest in additional production line equipment and expand its production models to better meet the needs of customers, including Foton Motors.

Chang Rui expressed his appreciation for the achievements in the construction of the Yuchai Thailand factory and the collaboration between Yuchai and Foton in advancing localization projects. He also recognized the progress in product matching and market expansion, hoping both sides would continue to deepen their cooperation and set a new benchmark for the collaborative global expansion of China’s automotive industry supply chain.

On the same day, the completion ceremony of Foton Motors’ Thailand factory and the production of its one-millionth export vehicle took place in Bangkok. Several vehicle models equipped with Yuchai engines were displayed at the event. Wu Qiwei represented Yuchai at the event, witnessing this important moment in Foton Motors’ global development.
